Of course. Always a tough one, but I believe teams are understanding this better and better. Also, 3 out of 5 of these riders have spent almost the whole season in Europe this year, so that helps.
True…am speaking from personal experience in late 60s…and with riders I mentored in 90s…I never felt so lonely as being sick what seemed like a million miles from home..and teams are such that someone different has a challenge…I spoke French and was Le Gar du Canada..but was still a pet project vs part of the crew…

I hear you. Must have been tough going for sure. I do think that things are much better now, although there are still many challenges.
